Hollywood Baby Boom Continues: Celebrities Due In January

With the New Year just beginning quite a few celebrity couples are planning on starting out the year with a new addition to their family this January. Let’s take a look what celebrity couples are planning on bringing home a little bundle of joy later in the month or perhaps have already welcomed a new baby this January.

Roselyn Sánchez and Eric Winter!

It’s a girl for the Without a Trace star Roselyn Sánchez and her husband Eric Winter from The Mentalist. On January 4^th 2012 this celebrity couple welcomed home Sebella Rose Winter. This is the first child for the couple and both are overwhelmed with joy to welcome a new addition to their family. “I can’t wait to see Eric with a baby,” Sánchez, who goes on to say, “I just know he’s going to be the best father ever.”

Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z (Shawn Carter)!

It’s a girl for this hip-hop duo and is the talk everywhere. After Beyoncé famously showed off her growing baby bump on the VMA stage the due date was not specified and had everyone guessing between the months of December to February. Well on January 7^th 2012 all rumors were laid to rest and this celebrity couple welcomed Blue Ivy Carter into their family, which will be the first child for the both of them.

Who Else Is Expecting This Month?  

Bruce Willis and Emma Heming-Willis
Willis, who has three children in his previous marriage to Demi Moore, is expecting his fourth child with his model and designer wife Emma Hemming-Willis. This will be the first child together.  According to a statement the couple shared with People Magazine, they “are overjoyed with this news and they look forward to welcoming this newest addition into their family.” They have not confirmed the sex of their expected baby but with both of their genes I’m sure that will be one gorgeous baby!

Linda Cardellini and Steven Rodriguez
Former ER actress and best known for her role as Velma Dinkley in the Scooby Doo movies Linda Cardellini is expecting her first baby with boyfriend Steven Rodriguez. Her rep told People, “They’re excited to start a family together.” Congratulations to the both of them!

Marla Sokoloff and Alec Puro
The former star of The Practice Marla Sokoloff and her husband musician Alec Puro are due to have a little girl any day now. On People.com she has blogged about her pregnancy telling readers that she felt like her pregnancy was “moving slower than molasses” and then week 30 came out of nowhere.  Now it’s anytime this month that this couple’s pink little bundle arrives. Congratulations Marla and Alec!

Sarah Drew, Dr. April Kepner from Grey’s Anatomy, and her husband Peter Lanfer are planning to add a new addition to their family this January. Just one month after Drew’s costar Eric Dane announced his wife Rebecca Gayheart is expecting again Drew had news she was expecting her first child! There must be something in the water on the Grey’s Anatomy set. Congratulations Sarah and Peter!
